Our family’s life was changed forever when we were referred to Gary during our son’s sophmore year. A former college Calculus teacher with over three decades of experience, he has a true desire to see his students succeed. Marco was really struggling with grasping the concepts in his advanced geometry classes. Our son, a former math whiz, suddenly hated math. At their very first meeting, they clicked almost instantly (Gary’s enthusiasm and energy is irrepressible) and I watched Marco’s face light up and smile while he was learning. We stayed with Gary through trigonometry junior year and then AP calculus senior year. Marco’s GPA went up significantly during this time. While they originally met face-to-face, we moved to zoom during the covid restrictions. He made the time to add extra review sessions during exams. I know that without Gary my son would never have had the chance to fulfill his lifelong dream of playing college football. Gary is an amazing mentor – not just a tutor – and we are so lucky we met him when we did!
